His junior year, he finished second in the 100 breaststroke, third in the 200 breaststroke, and seventh in the 200 IM. As a sophomore, he finished fourth in the 100 breaststroke.

As a freshman, he finished 10th in the 200 breaststroke, and 17th in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. He has had several scoring appearances at the NCAA Championships for the Bulldogs.
